Let’s be honest. It’s impossible to explore all of Mexico City even during a one-month vacation but if you just have three days to see and taste the biggest metropolis in the world, we can give you some tips to survive and enjoy. You should start on the outskirts, as all the other must-sees are a bit more concentrated inside the city, and we propose to start big: Teotihuacan. The largest pre-Columbian pyramids in Mexico sometimes are the only thing that the busiest tourists come to visit.  You will be daunted by the dimensions of the constructions and probably quite exhausted after climbing hundreds of stairs, but the view from the awesome Pyramid of the Sun is even worth a heart attack on your way.  You can book a taxi from your hotel for a larger fee or simply take the bus from the Central del Norte bus station.

Mexico nowadays is much more open and tolerant than it used to be. There are several destinations in this spectacular country that are already considered Gay Friendly and are getting its well reserved reputation among the gay international community. There are plenty of places to stay at during your gay vacations in Mexico and many of them deserve to be named the best Mexican Gay Resorts. Mexico City is one of the world's largest cities and has a vibrant gay scene to match. The heart of the gay scene is the Zona Rosa (the "Pink Zone"), a neighborhood filled with shops, restaurants and gay hotels. Gay marriages are official, and adoptions by gay and lesbian couples are legal and widely respected. Unfortunately the city lacks a great offer of gay-only hotels but you can still find some, and there are many gay friendly hotels that you will feel at ease during your stay. Consider 6M9 Gay Guest House for men only, the most popular El Patio 77, and Hotel del Principado with the best location in Zona Rosa.

Old Town Puerto Vallarta, also known as The Zona Romantica is probably the most charming part of the town. As soon as you get there and stop at any of the fancy bars and cafés, you will feel different charm and different atmosphere from the one that reigns on the Malecon. It is definitely the hippest zone of Puerto Vallarta nowadays, and the place to hang out with your friends. By doing so, you will prove that you are not a first comer to PV, but almost a local citizen that knows its secrets.  Old Town Vallarta is also a favorite spot of the gay community, and you can find plenty of gay establishments in the area.
